Aug. 6, 2009 Update: Tenacious D will be replacing the Beastie Boys as Sunday's headlining act.

July 27, 2009 Update: Due to the medical news that the Beastie Boys issued yesterday, the band will not be performing at the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival this year. Our thoughts go out to Adam Yauch and his family.

It's OK to lose your composure. Squeals are acceptable, fist-pumping de rigueur, and hi-fives, for now, are perfectly fine. Without further ado, it is our most sincere pleasure to present to you the Outside Lands' initial artist announcement!

On your mark, get set, go nuts.

Get the inside track on Outside Lands starting WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15TH at 10AM through SATURDAY, APRIL 18TH. Put the specially priced eager beaver tickets on your Visa and grab that tasty worm.

Get your Visa Signature Card working for VIP tickets and have access to fringe benefits including a Buena Vista and the super secret polo club.
