Joanne Franklin opened Ketch Joanne's on May 2nd, 1975 in the same Pillar Point Harbor location it is today. A second generation Italian-Portuguese American, Joanne crafted each item on the menu from her own recipes. Her personal favorite is linguica with eggs over medium (extra pepper) and French bread toast. Loyal Ketch customers come back year after year to sample the Ketch's specialties like carrot cake, blueberry pancakes, omelets, Boston or Manhattan clam chowder, prawns, calamari and fish & Chips.
